Club Projects and Achievements

The Rotary Club over the years has raised over $2.25 million, which has been used to make considerable donations to both local, national and international causes, some of these include the following:

Wodonga Hospital

1997 - 1998 President George Bedson bundling patient records for relocation during the 1997 major redevelopment of the Wodonga District Hospital.

It was estimated by the hospital that the 50,000 records moved by the club in one day saved over $7000 in contacting fees. The only problem is at the end of the redevelopment all the records had to be moved back.

Road Safety Education

1997/98 World President, Glen Kinross Inspects the Road Safety Education Facilities at the Wodonga South Primary School.

This project was a joint effort between all the Wodonga Rotary Clubs.
